I met the late Hon. Omwony Ojwok in Kenya 2005 attending a Meeting, He was sitting behind me in the back row in the room,, When he rose to speak he said he was Cabinet Minister.. from Unganda..Very humble and down to earth ... Cabinet minister in Africa don't write email to barefoot activist they meet in street but not Comrade Omwony Ojwok.. He inspired me to read and understand our history ... the email is my greatest memorial inheritance from the great generation of East africa social struggle who were natured by Mwalimu Nyerere ...and sacrificed their lives, families, and livelihoods in the struggle for democracy and social justice in our region....
..here what he wrote an email to me....................I reiterate that you have alot to contribute ..." Study understand our History deeper . organise yourself , link up with positive forces in Kenya ...and East Africa.. Africa..and indeed the World ".... Below is the produced email .. from the Great Pan-Africanist, a comrade of Dani Nabudere and Prof Yash Tandon and Member of Gang of Four... This letter is my treasure and my revolutionary heritage from Omwony Ojwok, and challenge to our young generation in East Africa..to follow the foot steps of this great patriots .. and Challenge to us in this time to devote some time to understand our history and how far we have come from, since the imperialism fascism of Idi Amin.....!
